MET WID Pilot Course

MET will use MFTN 132-Principle of Machining as a pilot course for WID. The course is freshmen course and contains 10-15% writing component. The course is offered in the Winter quarter, the following quarter of Comp I is offered. It is expected that with WID methodology, students will apply the writing skills and knowledge that they have learned in the Comp I to their machining course, and integrate the writing course into our manufacturing program. The goal is to enhance students learning.
