Criteria and Standards

Criteria in Writing
Requirements of Individual Faculty Members:
·Provide assignment sheets with clear expectations that address the following year-appropriate criteria
·Archive completed assignments
·Provide models/examples
·Ensure students take responsibility to follow instructions

Vision and Future

Three things have to happen to make this program effective:
1. Help faculty express to the student what they want
2. Help the students to follow the assignments and do the work
3. Help to evaluate the students

· If it is clear to the faculty how to do these three things, then sustainability might not be a problem.
· Publishing and clearly documenting expectations is CRITICAL (in written and oral communications).
· CAC = Communication Across the Curriculum
